Outreach Services by the City of Clovis and the Russian River Watershed
Association
Windsor, CA – December 23, 2004 - Data Instincts, one of
Sonoma County’s top ranking marketing and public relations firms, has been
contracted by the City of Clovis to prepare a needs assessment and an evaluation
of public awareness related to use of recycled water in their community. Clovis
is planning to construct a new wastewater treatment facility that could provide
highly treated recycled water for use at parks, golf courses, and playing
fields.
Data Instincts is known for their public outreach work on the Geysers Recharge
Project. Mark Millan, principal of Data Instincts, said, “We look forward to
assisting Clovis in preparation for safe and responsible use of recycled water,
and further contributing to California’s water conservation and water reuse
programs.”
Data Instincts has also been contracted to do a study for the
Russian River Watershed Association to measure public awareness regarding storm
water issues in cities in Mendocino and Sonoma Counties. The survey work will
serve as a baseline study toward improving future public outreach efforts.
Data Instincts is a professional consultancy providing public
agencies with public information and outreach services related to recycled water
and water conservation projects throughout California. The firm is currently
contracted with the Santa Rosa Subregional Water Reclamation System, the city of
